Sorry! We are SOLD OUT of chicken until mid-June. Our chickens typically range in weight from 5-7 lbs.  

 

 


Buying Half/Whole/Quarter Animals  

Our Angus beef can be purchased in whole, half or quarter quantities.  If you choose to purchase a quarter you will receive what we call a "mixed quarter".  It will consist of cuts from both the front and the back of the animal. We charge you by "hanging weight". Average hanging weight is 850 lbs for a whole animal.  Price for beef is $2.75/lb.

We also sell hogs - whole and halves. Average hanging weight is 200 lbs for a whole animal. Price for pork is $2.25/lb.

Our ordering process

  • You call and let us know what you want and we give you a time estimate (when the animal will likely be butchered)

  • If you are satisfied with the time frame we add you to our list.

  • When the butcher date for your animal is scheduled, we will give you a call and confirm the phone number you would to be reached for cutting instructions.

  • The processor will call you to get cutting instructions and give you a pick up date.

You pay the processor directly for the processing costs when you pick up the meat.  You pay Jelli's Market the above prices for hanging weight separately.
